Woman dies in apartment fire above bar in St. Clair County | Law and order

ST. CLAIR COUNTY — A 51-year-previous female was located lifeless Monday night immediately after a fireplace burned an condominium earlier mentioned a bar in the small village of St. Libory.
The Illinois condition fire marshal’s business is investigating the trigger of the fireplace. The name of the woman has not been introduced.
About 10:30 p.m. Monday, two motorists saw flames coming from the 2nd-ground condominium at 7160 Condition Route 15, claimed hearth Main Casey Trentman of the St. Libory Fire Protection District.

They ran up a back staircase and kicked in the doorway to the condominium, but flames and smoke pressured them back again, said St. Clair County sheriff’s Capt. Bruce Fleshren.
