MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Police fatally shot a man early Thursday, ending an hourslong standoff at a Minneapolis condominium developing that began with a capturing in advance of officers arrived, officials said.

Authorities negotiated with the guy for about six several hours ahead of police shot him, explained Minneapolis Law enforcement Section spokesman Garrett Parten. He was taken to a clinic and died, officers reported.
